I have a cottage I close up in the winter and have tried what you listed to no avail and even had a mouse nest built inside the drier sheet box with sheets still in it. This year I turned the radio on with the volume up and will report back in the spring as to how that works. A friend swears by it. He said the ultra sonic gizmos work for a while but the mice get used to it whereas the radio is ever changing noise.I have tried all kinds of stuff. Ultrasonic, dryer sheets, irish spring soap, mothballs. The only thing that works has been the spring traps. Try and clear any clutter in your garage and clear any vegetation around the outside. Maybe put some bait boxes outside around the garage. Not the best for the environment. But they work.
