Only Mavericks with the upgraded instrument cluster with larger 6.5" screen can customize the visible screens like that.

Technically... Lariat and XLT FX4 both have the upgraded instrument cluster with the 6.5" screen. All others (XL and XLT without FX4) have the smaller screen. Their menus are different.
I wasn’t sure since it looked different then mine.

I was able to turn off that seatbelt notification- Another newly found reason to upgrade to Lariat/Trim- Hopefully other trims can find a workaround- It drove me crazy until I found the toggle to deselect-

Raises a question. Off road, when I want to go from one spot to another a few minutes away at low speed, if I touch the ok button will the seatbelt alarm stay silent? Or will it come back on after a delay? I hate to repeatedly put on my seatbelt when I’m just going from one spot to another and then another.

I must have disabled this soon after I got mine, 3 months ago, because I do not get this popup. Lariat Lux.

I want to remove this in my XLT Lux Hybrid. Can't find a way. Also the buckle / unbuckle 3x thing did nothing.

It’s possible to disable chimes and the pop-up reminder using FORSCAN. I did it in my truck.
Can you share the appropriate sections in Forscan to do this ? Thanks!

No Go! Mine already show disabled. Something must be overriding any changes or changes have to made under IPC As Built.

I found out how to DISABLE the seat belt warnings all together. Anyone can do it with ZERO TOOLS for ZERO COST in under ONE MINUTE.

THIS WILL BLOW YOUR MIND HOW EASY IT IS.

Just connect the seat belts in all the unused positions and leave them connected. No more warnings or chimes or messages or acknowledgements Added bonus- the rear seat belts won't blow in the wind with rear windows open and hum and flutter all around.

I'm MUCH happier with this one simple step. DO IT. DO IT NOW!
As Nike would say "Just Do It."

I'm pretty sure it can be disabled in your settings. However I didn't do it because the alert goes away. And I don't even notice it. Just drive

Some of our folks liked to do that with their Crown Vics. Except those had a tendency where sitting on the seatbelt would twist and pull the buckle assembly in such a way the plastic cover would then get hung up on the structural frame of the seat. Now the seatbelt tension sensor was getting maxed out all the time which would set an airbag light.

I notice it because I always want to get to Eco mode, and also manually turn off the ebrake before driving, so it is extra button pushes to get that to go away. 100% no setting on an XL or any way to change it with forscan.

100% verified.

Leave all belts buckled, buckle before starting, ZERO pop ups!

John, I owe you a beer! ( Haha, only 6 months of frustration, as I am about to trade in on a Lariat with the big screen, so it will be a non issue).

As far as I know this is the ONLY solution that actually works.

Thanks!
