Adding Push Button Start to non-Lariat?

Any one working on this? I'd really like to retro-fit it in but not sure where to start.

It may be a lot if you want the total keyless package. You would have to change all the door handles then the ignition switch in the column add the transponder, keys etc etc etc. I have a car with keyless ignition and honestly I can’t wait to get a car back with a key. Just my opinion nothing more then that. My girl thinks I’m crazy for not wanting keyless ignition.

Was really just caring about push button start myself.

For the past 10+ years I haven't had a keyed start and I HATE needing a key to start the car.

It’s been 17 years for me in a daily driver. It was almost enough to make me buy a Lariat but I’m too cheap and don’t need all that other crap.

In hindsight I would have bought the Lariat for this and ACC. Otherwise super happy with my XLT. Was hoping this would get some traction like adding ACC and/or Sync3 update.

There have been a few non-A, CC add-on discussions. Check out 2022MaverickXL's threads for more on that as well as a Sync3/4 swap for XLTs.

If it helps, a close approximation I've done is the VSS Perimeter Alarm+, that will add Remote Start to your OEM XLT keyfob. Still have to turn key to ON position once in the cab but is also WAAYYYY cheaper than building out the entire PushtoStart subsystem into an XLT and finagling Forscan, etc.

I saw an after market option but would prefer to figure out how to make the OE system work.

I have the remote start already on my car through FordPass.
