How to Disable Seat Belt Reminder Ok Button Push?

On a XLT Luxury Hybrid is there a way to disable the required “OK” button push for the seatbelts on every startup? I just grow tired of all the initial button pushes.

No. You can disable the seat belt reminder alerts, however. I too am annoyed at all the stupid button pushes, but this is likely the result of big brother trying to save you from yourself and the fact cars are now being designed by a generation of workers who love buttons, keyboards, emojis, likes, etc.

Believe OP means this, from the manual.

Pops up every time you start the vehicle. I've disabled mine but can't seem to find the steps to do it. It's in the settings somewhere, I believe on the touchscreen.

You can wait. My XL would clear this on its own after a minute or so. You didn't have to press OK unless you just wanted it to go away immediately.

It’s possible to disable chimes and the pop-up reminder using FORSCAN. I did it in my truck.

Some here have reported they disabled that 'feature' in the dash settings somehow...

^ I will try that, but my concern is shown in post #3. Upon starting my Hybrid XLT Lux, I get the annoying seatbelt reminder for all stations and have to hit OK to clear. While it will eventually turn off, I would like to disable all the OK button clears upon startup. Thanks

Try in the instrument cluster, select my screens, scroll down and uncheck the seatbelt screen. I believe that’s how I got mine to quit popping up.

I think the XLT screen is different from the Lariat.

Only Mavericks with the upgraded instrument cluster with larger 6.5" screen can customize the visible screens like that.

I think the XLT screen is different from the Lariat.

Technically... Lariat and XLT FX4 both have the upgraded instrument cluster with the 6.5" screen. All others (XL and XLT without FX4) have the smaller screen. Their menus are different.
