I didn't have a chance to take a picture or notice if it was a hybrid or ecoboost, but I finally saw my first Maverick in the wild!

It was a cactus grey in La Habra, CA.

I'm taking this as a good omen that my FE Rapid Red is truly going to be built this month as promised in my last email from Ford.

3 including mine, and I think it was the first one the salesman had seen. I saw one in Clearwater, FL back in December. I don't know what kind it was. There's a hybrid that I've see in traffic a couple times here north of ATL. I waved to the guy.

Are we doing that, waving like Jeep owners do at each other?

This is an interesting thread to see where these are being sent. I've seen about 4 or 5 different ones in my area. Good to know we seem to be keeping up with the Jones's.

I’m surprised I haven’t seen more, the Midwest and the south are prime truck country. I know they were also filling a void for urban truck-wanters, but I still expected to see more.
That being said, I’m the only person I know that ordered one.

I’m surprised I haven’t seen more, the Midwest and the south are prime truck country. I know they were also filling a void for urban truck-wanters, but I still expected to see more.
That being said, I’m the only person I know that ordered one.

I have seen 3 near home of Barberton, OH, including 1 a block from my house, plus 1 black Hybrid I followed for 10 miles on I-95 near Jacksonville, Florida last week. So, 4 total.

I live in the Ocala FL area and I've only seen one in the wild - Velocity blue in a Walmart parking lot. I travel for business and, frankly, I'm shocked I haven't see more. I have stopped at half a dozen or so Ford dealerships and looked Mavericks to get some ideas and clarity on options, colors, etc. Our Ocala dealership has had three or four, though I have not seen them on the road yet. A used car dealership in Gainesville had a gray XL on their lot with 225 miles, asking $39,995 ... just looked at a few options and kept walking LOL!

Took mine in yesterday for recall service and saw 1 Cyber Orange on the drive in, 3 sold on the lot, 1 in the service bay and 5 fleet trucks for an electrical supply company. I see at least 1 almost every day now.

How many Mavericks have you seen in the wild? And where was it? I ask because I’ve only seen two, and that surprises me given their popularity.

The first one I ever saw was in a Disney World parking lot in Orlando in December.

I saw one in St. Louis driving down the road a week or so ago.

I’ve seen a few sitting on dealer lots, but those don’t count

I've seen 6 if on the dealer lot is "in the wild". I saw 5 the night before I ordered mine, got to sit in one of those. Several different trims and colors. I order mine the next day at a different dealer. Last weekend I was at my dealer and they had a near my build A51 lariat, SIBL, Lux. No moon roof though. I got to sit in it as well. Someone here posted seeing two parked next to each other at the local grocery store. I take an extra swing through parking lot now but haven't seen them yet.

I finally saw another one tonight! Passed it on my way home with Seoul Taco. GX4, the dark gray color, it looked good.

I've seen about 12 in Michigan. Three in the last 2 weeks. Four had manufacturer plates on them. First ones back in August. Seen another today. Similar to FleetBacon in South East Michigan.
