I plan to keep mine for a very long time. We shall see how it does. Taking her in for her first oil change today.

I usually keep vehicles a while, my Outback was over 11, my GMC Envoy was 13, and bought the 10/100 warranty, so......

How long do you plan to keep your Ford Maverick Truck?
Until someone offers me much more than I paid for it.
(Oh wait, that's already happened a couple of times)

Probably until I need the room in my garage or when I order a new, upgraded Mav and it arrives. Since I have the First Edition EcoBoost, that will likely be a while since they now seem to be cutting down on the upgrade options to speed up production. I already had to order custom made leather seats since that wasn't even an option.

Today a person can buy a new car, drive it for a few years and get a large portion of their money back, which makes driving a new car as cheap as driving a used car. My '23 Mav with 8,000 miles is worth $4500 more than I have in it. I really like my Maverick but I'm not sure I want to drive a Ford that's out if warranty. It will be interesting to see which manufacturers jump into this hot segment. I probably will buy a '26 ?????
Forever this is my very last vehicle

My dad traded off every 6 years. That’s how long I kept my first two cars but I’ve had a couple I bought because they were a deal and I flipped them. After that my career dictated I lease cars (19) every two years and I bought a new Kia Sportage when I retired in 2017, now six years hence I got what may likely be my last, a pickup was on the bucket list.

This is the 1st. Vehicle I ordered new & plan on keeping it a long time. Good price so I got a lot of extras to preserve it; rustproofing, undercoating, SIBL, Zurich Shield, Truxedo Sentry hard roll-up tonneau cover, Weathertech mudflaps. Really like this truck, had many trucks B4.

I'm planning on retiring to Spain in the next year, so that means I'll have my Maverick for 3 years before selling it. I'm betting I'll be able to sell it for 22-23K, not bad since the OTDP was 28K

Honda Element - 21 yrs old still ticking
Porsche 930 - kept 13 yrs (until stolen)
Porsche Cayman S - 6 yrs (Traded for Maverick)
Honda CRV - 25 yrs old and still ticking.

Only concern with Maverick/Hybrid is my and probably all Ford Dealers automatically have a $150-$180 repair inspection (got-ya) fee anytime you take it in their door for problems, except for warranty, recalls or standard maintenance like oil changes. My dealer tried to charge me for ceiling airbag recall last month until I pointed it out that it was a recall item) With this service charge the Maverick (0r any Ford, may be expensive to maintain. All the computer diagnostics are going to push many of the small economic repair shops out of business...many in my area are already long GONE!
