HTTP STATUS 400 BAD REQUEST= Can be like what you requested has not been sent to the same server you are asking to furnish and if the next layer server does not respond within xx milliseconds your server responds with error 400. Just send it one or two more times and if it is actually a valid request your link should connect within one minute or so when your server receives it. Internet has been busy the last couple weeks I have seen it about 2-3 times. Are you going to Ford Accessories via Ford.com? Reason I ask is at no point does the URL look like that for me.
Well I cant say anything about Tesla except I refuse to support future supervillians, but I would go to a better dealership. In my experience there is always a "good" dealership in each major population center. One that has a million parts in stock and has a huge service center. In Dayton Ohio, it was the one off of 35 in Beavercreek. Im sure there is one somewhere in your area that isnt a turd. I cant help you with the website as the last time I ordered a Ford accessary I ordered it by mail out of the Ford Racing catalogue. Not defending their systems or anything but some companies just dont put as much importance on online service as others. They probably lose business to a point but when you deal with fleets and vast dealer networks you probably dont need the individual consumer tech as long as their internal systems run smooth.Have now spent close to three hours trying to order accessories from Ford. Trying to use FordPass points to order a tri-fold bed cover which, to be honest, is priced at 2X retail, but is properly priced if the cost is mitigated by FordPass points and SPRING20.
Called customer (NO) service and the woman didn't even have her microphone up to her face and the noise in the background suggested she was either working in a restaurant while answering calls for Ford or making a meal at home.
Is anyone able to order anything through Ford's website? If so, how?
Things I've tried:
After waiting two years for this truck, I'd like to buy some accessories. Why is Ford so dammed determined not to sell stuff? How the actual f are they even in business? Why does nobody at that company actually care?
- Different computer
- Different browser
- Incognito Mode
- Wiping the Cache
- FordPass App
- Combinations of the above
- Calling Ford
- Going to dealer where they say they do not honor ANY discount codes on ANY retail sales.
If Ford corporate does monitor this site - kindly answer these questions!
Do you realize that customers DO HAVE A CHOICE and TESLA MAKES ORDERING A CAR AND ACCESSORIES EASIER THAN ORDERING A PIZZA?
Damn ... I regret this purchase. Not because of the vehicle, which is sorta fine but has really poorly written software (for some reason audio over Apple Play is terrible, but good over bluetooth & very wonky 360 assist interface). Ford is about where my company was in 1995. It is astonishing they are impossible to do business with online.
Amazes me the depth of knowledge in the “hive mind” here. Thanks for the good reply. You were right. Kiddos got me up at 2:30am. Then it went right through.HTTP STATUS 400 BAD REQUEST= Can be like what you requested has not been sent to the same server you are asking to furnish and if the next layer server does not respond within xx milliseconds your server responds with error 400. Not sure what Elon is. At least he isn’t doing the stuff Henry Ford did. Maybe he rules Mars one day. Similar men in the way they push manufacturing technology and motors. Tesla’s latest project at completion is “project Highland.” Highland Park was the name of Ford’s first production line.Well I cant say anything about Tesla except I refuse to support future supervillians, but I would go to a better dealership. Remember when Ford forged their own steel at River Rouge and grew their own rubber trees at Fordlandia in Brazil? Now you can't even get freaking mud flaps or a trailer hitch receiver from them.Have now spent close to three hours trying to order accessories from Ford. When you say the word "Maverick" it takes all the eager excitement out of their faces and the hope they were going to sell you an overpriced high profit F150. You are then dealt with like the bum in the parking lot asking for cans.My one experience ordering online through Ford, they got the order wrong, sent me a mat for a Ford Edge instead of a tailgate damper. Thier mistake but a have to send the mat back before they will send my part, will be at least a 2 week delay. Customer service was unengaged and disinterested, felt like i was taking them away from a movie they were watching.
I keep getting that same error message, and reported it to Ford yesterday. Here's what they replied:![]()
All I can get.
That looks like an internal link for dealers? How did you even find that link?
It is amazing.how are they still in business? Ford Motor revenue for the twelve months ending March 31, 2023 was $165.055B, a 22.64% increase year-over-year. Ford Motor annual revenue for 2022 was $158.057B, a 15.93% increase from 2021.
