The dealer ended up replacing my rear light wiring harness.... (the small one that is attached to the tail light assembly). It had a short in it they told me.
I thought it was a bad ground, I crawled underneath and had my son watch while I moved the harness where it is grounded to the frame...
I have the same problem going on, When it acts up, the whole right rear lamp assembly is out. No brake light, no back up, no nothing. Dealer picked it up the other day, checked it and said a couple of pins in the harness connector were not making a good connection. (or so they thought)...
The dealer picked up my truck and left me with a new 2024 Edge ST-Line.... very nice vehicle. Returned it back and told me replaced a couple of pins in the light harness where the lamp assembly plugs. Two pins making a poor connection. Will say.... Great dealer service.
I did put Lasfit reverse bulbs in... but it had been already was acting up.
It is funny this morning I remote started the truck and the left tail light was lite. I unlocked the truck and checked the signal and it worked. I didn't have anyone around to see what happens when I put it in reverse...
Dealer came today with a mobile service and did the software update. It did not fix my right complete tail light outage. He said it was throwing a code of an open or shorted circuit. So it is going to the dealer next week.
This is just what mine is doing now.... Called the dealer and they will do the software update next week with the mobile service. I find it odd it is acting up now.
Mine has been acting strange on and off for a while. I only notice the fast flashing arrow when turning right. Never noticed it when turning left. The only LED bulbs I installed were the backup lamps and that was just a week ago. The right hand hyper flashing was going on at time long before...
