My 2 cents worth---Ordering the FX4 package in my Mav---I would have thought it should have came with something other then these Pirellis. A another brand of tire with some level of aggressive tread would have been better. Like another owner posted, the Pirellis are basically a weak AT tire. (Very weak in my mind.) To me even the tread pattern on the Continental tires on the XL steelies are more aggressive then the Pirellis. At the least- the Continentals have a tread pattern that disperses road water better. We had a few inches of snow last week here in eastern Iowa, and if it wasnt for the AWD, I would have been spinning tires quite a ways leaving from a stop. Bottom line for me will be addressing the idea of buying new tires before next winter season- as the current winter season is heading toward the finish line.I've had snow tires on my truck for all but 700 dry miles so far, and before I get my tires changed over for the summer, I'm wondering how the stock Pirelli's are in the wet. I've read various reviews, some people say they're terrible in the rain, some say their great. Is that actually the case? I drive 30+ miles a day on the interstate, and I'd rather not have tires that are going to be terrible when it rains.
