I used mine this morning. I think it's good.

Yours must be broken. They are normal horns but because of their placement and lack of sound deadening material they are pretty loud.Am I the only one that finds the Maverick horn lacking? Any better options out there?
Thanks
This is so sad...Yup....I feel that way
Yeah, my butt puckered yesterday because I actually saw this as it happened. Saw his cooler fly.Yup....I feel that way
I don't beep at anyone these days, the reply might be a gunshot! I have found that I am always being tailgated since I began driving my Maverick. I also find the oversized trucks coming up behind at a high rate of speed, & then pass me (on 4 lanes roads) then slow down to normal speed.I've used the horn in my Maverick more times in one month than I have in eight years of ownership with my Accord. I seem to keep getting stuck behind narcoleptics at stoplights and/or asshats who can't drive. Does anyone else feel like people are aiming directly for you while you're driving your Maverick? Or is it new vehicle paranoia?
If you were in Florida, getting shot MAY be a concern. Wisconsin? Maybe not so much.I don't beep at anyone these days, the reply might be a gunshot! Agree 100% ..... That's why I decided to use a step up Bully in the trailer receiver. C'mon up and kiss this bumper TGers. Have some ppl backoff all of a sudden as soon as they see it.I don't beep at anyone these days, the reply might be a gunshot! That was helpful.Unless your a NYC cab driver keep your hands off the horn. Most state driver's manuals state the the horn is used to avoid collisions.
