If you were in Florida, getting shot MAY be a concern. Wisconsin? Maybe not so much.
more people than not are carrying guns now, soon the motto's on buildings & money is going to change to "in GUN we trust".

If you’d like louder, the standard for easy swap out and replacement is most Hella horns. Another user already listed some but I wanted to give them a second recommendation. Had a few on my old Evo and they were great. They’re fairly cheap too!

Thanks! For the price, Hella it is.
Horn location doesn't help. If I can avoid getting hit again, money well spent.

I've used the horn in my Maverick more times in one month than I have in eight years of ownership with my Accord. I seem to keep getting stuck behind narcoleptics at stoplights and/or asshats who can't drive. Does anyone else feel like people are aiming directly for you while you're driving your Maverick? Or is it new vehicle paranoia?

Today's drivers are distracted by their phones at stoplights and so paranoid they might miss a text. All it takes is one clown to hold up the whole circus.

You dont drive around Madison/The belt line much, people getting shot on the beltline over a little road rage is happening weekly, and reports of some one flashing a piece are happening daily....buy anywhere else in Wisconsin, probably not an issue

I don't beep at anyone these days, the reply might be a gunshot! I have found that I am always being tailgated since I began driving my Maverick. I also find the oversized trucks coming up behind at a high rate of speed, & then pass me (on 4 lanes roads) then slow down to normal speed.
One thing I have found is the windshield wiper fluid overshoots the Maverick's windshield a lot, so when people tailgate you, give them a good blast. Don't ask me how I know this, but if you put some red food coloring in the windshield fluid, Its funny to watch them react!

Wisconsin issues don't show up much in our Florida newspapers.

I said just the other day that I have used my horn more in the last few weeks then the last 30 years! What the hell is wrong with people lately? So may folks are running red lights and flying through yellow when they have time to stop that it's completely out of hand. You'd think nobody knows what a turn signal is for. and they'll turn left in front of you in a heartbeat.
