Nice setup, but you're probably pushing the limits of the 400lb tongue weight limit for the hitch.
YZ250 is listed as 227lbs and joehauler is 50lbs. Add in ramp, etc and you're probably at about 300lbs. The 400lbs limit is based on a typical 8" receiver drawbar not the extended weight of hitch carrier. Generally the hitches are over-engineered to take into account variability of a dynamic load, but bottom line is take it easy over rough terrain so the hitch doesn't get damaged.

This isn’t a set up I’ll use, I needed to get the joe hauler home for use on my Gladiator. But I thought I would test it out and see if it’s doe able. It doesn’t change the handling of the truck and it started raining on me.

Hauling my YZ250 on my @joehauler hitch hauler. I was worried it was going to upset the handling of the truck, but it didn’t even know it was back there. I still got 40 mpg also

I have a similar setup and run straps from the upper rear cargo hold downs to outside corners of the carrier to keep it from rocking. I haul a 2024 KLX 300 on it and have had no problems. Probably around 350 pounds but the addition of the straps transfers some of the weight and keeps it from rocking in the receiver.

PS, also added HF magnetic mount trailer lights as bike obscures the tail lights.

I used the hitch tightener plate to keep it from rocking.

So much easier this way, than pulling the bed cover off and loading it in the bed!

Yeah, good dogs!! Is there a quick fox out and about in the neighborhood?

From a typing class many moons ago...

Well I feel better about installing a e-Bike carrier to haul both our bikes! Mine comes in at round 80 lbs with the battery removed, my wife's around 62-63 lbs with the battery removed, and a bike carrier of around 50-60 lbs capable of holding both of them. (Looking at Young Electric dual bike carrier that can hold 200 lbs of bikes). I'd be placing mine in the spot closer to the tailgate, her light bike in the outer position. (Need to avoid as much leverage as possible).

I'd also suggest a hitch clamp to stabilize the load on bumps, but I tend to air on the side of caution.
