I'm currently driving a 2023 XLT, FX4, 4k Tow, Luxury, CP 360, Remote Start, with Moonroof and Manual Rear Slider.
I'm a little disappointed there's no Lariat FX4 this time around. Never thought picking a higher trim level would eliminate features. I'm also bothered by the lack of rear slider on XLT and what looks to be light blue trim accents inside.
That said... even with the increase in price, the addition of push button start (no more turning car off to go back in the house) and the upgraded head unit are pretty compelling.
Do I choose the FX4 for skid plates, upgraded cooling, tow hooks, better rims and tires, and upgraded cooling and suspension.
Or do I choose the Lariat for upgraded safety features, better sound system, adaptive cruise, power rear slider, nicer looking rims.
Would appreciate your thoughts in the comments either way.
Also, does anyone else think the Lariat seating in the previous model year looked classier?
