Has anyone put a Diamondback bed cover on their Maverick? Need to lock up the truck bed with a good hard cover. Recommendations?

So I managed to get the Diamondback cover on this weekend, it was a bear to install, even with 3 people. Not only that but I didn't get the seal compressed enough up by the bulkhead below the window where the cab is, I was able to run my finger tips between the seal and the bulkhead. The instructions said to let the seal compress for 24 hours before doing anything, I tested the forward part and it does leak under the spray of a garden hose. The other issue is the butyal tape placed on those gaps towards the cab, the material got tacky under the heat and started sticking to the seal on the Diamondback. I tried to smooth it out but I may end up removing some so it won't interfere with the seal as much.
So I am going to contact Diamondback and see what they suggest, they make a bulkhead seal for some trucks but said the Maverick doesn't need it. I am also going to try to compress the seal with my co-workers when I get a chance again next week to see if I can improve it, its obviously less compressed than the rear portion of the seal. Worse case, I may take it to a place that installs tonneau covers if I can't get it adjusted to my liking, hopefully it doesn't come to that.
Speaking of, the rear portion of the cover is so tightly compressed that I cannot open the tailgate without opening the cover. I was hoping I could open the tail gate with the cover closed but perhaps its not designed to do that? Other than that, the cover locks perfectly and is tightly secured.
I also didn't have a chance to put on the tailgate seal, between the rain (Which I got caught in installing the cover) and all the time it took to get the cover on/adjusted, I ran out of time. The only other accessory I managed to get on this weekend was the bug guard. That work out nicely as least. I was hoping to get all my accessories installed this weekend but it didn't work out and it will probably be another week or two until its all done due to my work schedule.
Here are some photos tho....

I have been rocking it for almost a year, its very secure. I am still getting some drips at the bulkhead which I am going to attempt to seal again when it gets warmer but the way bed is the little water doesn't get into the items I am carrying. My biggest gripe with it now that I drove it through the winter, the seals like to freeze to the frame of the bed, I can open the tailgate and get enough of a grip on the rear hatch portion to open it but not so with the front cover.Has anyone put a Diamondback bed cover on their Maverick? The only thing I see as a drawback to that very sturdy, secure, heavy duty Diamondback bed cover. Is that some lowlife begins to wonder, if they aren't tweaked out. WHAT's being protected by such a heavy duty cover?I have been rocking it for almost a year, its very secure. Beyond that, it is expensive, the one I got set me back $2000 with shipping but I often keep firearms in the bed for my range trips that are worth more than that and the bed is like a safe with this cover so it was worth it. I also used the cover several times as I place to sit/lay on, like this past Saturday when I have to oversee an outdoor job at my company.
True but thankfully most of the time, I am not in areas where this is a major concern or I am not away from the truck long, if I go into NYC for example I take my Fusion as its smaller/lower profile than my Maverick. However, with the locks on the hatch and the tailgate lock, I think they'd have a very hard time getting into it.The only thing I see as a drawback to that very sturdy, secure, heavy duty Diamondback bed cover is. I have the same one on mine.....I would buy again for sure.......When I bought my Mav (Lariat trim) from CarMax, it had a Rough Country hard cover with the locking tailgate. That was a big selling point for me. In just over 3 years, I've had no issues with it.
I was thinking of getting the bike rack for mine, how was the install? Mine only has the tie down cleats. I am hesitant as I believe you have to drill the cover to attach the bike rack mount.I have a DiamondBack cover and it's pretty good but not perfect. I still think it's a good option and would buy it again. It provides the security I want while traveling and camping. I also mounted T-slot rails on top of it to attach cargo cross bars to haul bikes or a hard sided luggage carrier. My biggest complaint is that it's not as water proof as I had hoped. I get leaks dribbling down the sides of the bed at the break in the cover seal where sections meet and at the expansion joint in the Maverick plastic on top of the bed side. Here's a poor quality picture of my camping setup with bikes on the cover.

I didn't buy the ones from DiamondBack, I did my own setup by cutting down some Rhino Rack T-slot rails and then used the Rhino cross bars with homemade bike mounts made with 2x6s and fork mounts from Amazon. I did have to drill the cover to attach the rails which I was also hesitant doing, but measure 3 or 4 times before drilling and it will be OK.I was thinking of getting the bike rack for mine, how was the install?
