So I shouldnt post that I was thinking of driving to Home Depot 10 miles away and may exceed speed of 60MPH (gasp) and was thinking of putting 4 bags of mulch in the back (I want to do 5 but dont want to push it)
I was planning on getting all my fluids changed so I am ready for this trip but...
2025 Lobo high
423 miles as of right now lol
All ready lowered ..tonneau cover....tinted....tailgate spoiler... maverick inserts and a few other things ....
Thinking I might hit 2000 miles by end of year lol
According to the forums your battery is dying
Dont feel bad - my Ecoboost just hit 500 miles so my transmission should be breaking any second now.......
Not everyone looks at vehicles as only objective numbers on a spreadsheet : )
There is nothing wrong with the hybrid- from a pure numbers standpoint it is the most logical.
But for those of us looking beyond the numbers..... the hybrid could be 5K cheaper and get 60 MPG but we would still...
I dont feel like that many people diss hybrid acceleration....
Neither motor is slow ...but neither is fast
I think the EcoBoost has little more personality if that makes sense though
Some people dont care about that kind of stuff and look at vehicles as more of an appliance... that's cool too
Im with you 100%
Respect to the people trying to maximize mpg and look at it as just a utility vehicle that serves a purpose.
But I like personality in a vehicle
Its why I bought the Lobo ...and after 45 days of ownership I've put 300 miles on it lol would take me 30 years to make up the...
My GT350R is getting about 10MPG because 8200RPM - my EcoBoost is getting mid 20s
Thank you for saving gas so I can use more of it- in fact I might do a few more 8200RPM pulls this weekend since your doing so good....
As someone who used to own a plug in car (I just bought for the carpool lane sticker)
I have some experience with some of this stuff
Unless its Tesla- the charging infrastructure is highly unreliable........many times I would try to plug in places because why not- and it felt like half the...
I come from a similar vehicle background as you- have driven a few Tesla - the acceleration is insane (I drove a Plaid) but my problem is I like noise I know ICE will never be as fast or efficient but I cant see ever replacing my gas powered cars with an EV..... at 51 I find myself more...
Nope....actually when I didnt work at home I had a horrible commute and bought a little Chevy Volt - they even had charging stations at work so I could charge at home and at work.....after that I went to a Ford Fusion plug in - I even added some sticky tires and lowered the Fusion with coil...
