I wonder why, probably some out of date law or maybe just the shipping cost. Once again, thanks for the info and good luck with the Kannuks. (probably misspelled)

Mine does not leak at all... not a drop. The only water that ever gets inside is a very small amount that comes in through the sides of the tailgate. I could probably seal that up easily if it was an issue.
I took a couple pitchers of water and investigated this afternoon. Water is definitely leaking through the highlighted seam in the photo below on almost all the panels. It then drips through the locking mechanisms mounted to the underside. Real bummer - I'd have figured there was some sort of sealant in that seam. Maybe it's a manufacturing defect. I emailed Bak about it.

Credit where it's due to Bak's customer service - they're sending me another replacement cover. Hopefully third time's the charm and this one doesn't leak!

went with the BAK Revolver X4s Tonneau Cover from real truck and I'm loving it so far. It rolls out of the way and has metal slats that add security. it holds several hundred pounds, which I like because I'll toss things on it while loading the cab and you don't have to baby it. plus it's like 98% water tight. I tried to show the tiniest bit of water that got in after the car wash.

That looks really good. Does it come out easily if I needed the entire bed?

Thanks for sharing, it looks great, nice and clean. I'll share photos of my Gator FX3 when I get it installed, can't believe how quickly I got it after purchase.

So I did end up I chatting with Alex at RealTruck about what I was looking for, and mentioned I had my eye on a tri fold like the Gator FX. He did give me a quote on it with the forum discount, but also brought something to my attention something that I hadn't considered. Living in Louisiana we have heavy sun for the majority of the year, and Alex mentioned the FX might fade faster than others based on it's material. He recommend the Bakflip MX4 which is the only tri-fold that has a built in UV inhibitor to protect against sun fade. It was a tad spendier but it also has a longer warranty than the FX, so it felt like a fair compromise.

It arrived today, Install was a breeze, and I couldn't be happier with it. Love it!

Congratulations, I do have a bit of concern as I live in the desert southwest and we usually have full sun over 300 days a year. I had a moderate amount of rain today and the only moisture I found was near the tail gate and a small amount that leaked in at the front of the bed where water was standing in the gap between the window and the front seal.

Installed the Rough Country one over the weekend. Fits tight, easy install. Probably much easier with 2 people. The Maverick is the wife's truck, and I like the cable release on one side over the latches where you have to reach in or over both sides. Price was good, and I prefer the aluminum over the vinyl, at least until the summer in Dallas allows me to use it as a grill.
