Gap between windshield and dash

Hi y'all,

I placed a small, thin parking pass on the top of my dash, and it slid between the dash and the windshield. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get it out, or where it disappeared to?

come at it sideways and pull up with another piece of paper then pull up. put some double-sided tape on the edge of the paper to help grab.

My friend did this once on his BMW. I had a thin, bendy plastic ruler lying around. I stuck some double backed tape to it and got it out with that. In his case it hadn't slid that deep. Can you see it if you look in from outside the windshield?

I think it joins all the socks which are lost in the dryer.

Might be easier to just get a replacement tag.
