Ford survey with $200 gift card

Got an email asking for my participation in their research and schedule an appt with an engineer team . Get $200 at the end of event. Is this legit?

I did one way back in late 2021 that was a 90 minute video call with various Ford Engineers that were part of the Maverick team. Believe I got a gift card or something around that amount after.

I've also gotten additional survey/research invites since then that have come from other sources that seem less reputable.

Do it and enjoy the money. I did one with Kia and got a $1,000 check a few days later. Easiest money I have made in a long time.

When living in Atlanta, years ago, Chrysler, Dodge, invited My wife and I to participate in an evaluation and preview demonstration. It was a closed event with four future models displayed one of which was a RAM pickup truck.

We were to tour the various vehicles and respond with surveys about what we found interesting and helpful and our general opinion about the vehicles we were assigned to.

I know one of the vehicles I was assigned to was what is today the Dodge Durango. It was a good 6 years before the model that we viewed was actually produced and sold. So it is a legit thing that some of the auto companies pay to get your opinion. Our viewing was at least 10 years ago and we were paid $350.

They had me signed up for an appointment in June. I think they might call and talk to me about my experiences with the hybrid. Had the maverick since October and just gotten the email out of the blue. If it’s legit I could use the $$$ to pay for mods
