Ford sends out (blanket spam) email -- "An Important Update About Your Order"

Never got an email for confirmation or this “blanket” email tried to contact dealer to find out what’s going on, nothing, calling ford customer service tomorrow if no resolution I just may go truck shopping, my original date to start looking at a new vehicle is next month so I’m good financially now for a purchase, I love this Maverick and the new Bronco but I’m tired of the games.

The dealer didn’t put your email on the order, only logical explanation. You ordered in November so you could still be in for a long wait.

Enjoy the sticker shock . I think Nissan Frontiers are still fair priced but maybe not. Gas is in the rise so sales for monster trucks should be going down.

I’ve looked at a few already hopefully I can catch a dealAnd I’ve called for several times and they have my email on file but I do think something is wrong but no one wants to take the time to figure it out.

I received this email "update" for my 23 October hybrid order. At least this is direct from Ford evidence that your order truly exist.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Now Ford will be flooded with inquiries from people who did not see the email.

I didn't get the email so I assume my ecoboost xlt is still scheduled for next week.

I’ve looked at a few already hopefully I can catch a dealAnd I’ve called for several times and they have my email on file but I do think something is wrong but no one wants to take the time to figure it out.

The Dealer can have it on file but if not linked to the order it won’t matter. The dealer can attach 2 email accounts to the order.

Definitely try to negotiate a Nissan Frontier. I also like Tacomas but there isn’t a deal to be had on those. The cool thing about Tacomas is the resale value is about 70 percent after 5 years.

I’m waiting it out for the Maverick. I have a pile of accessories and time invested.

last thing to note. Keep your order for the Maverick. You might come back to it and sell your other truck for a profit, who knows.

I delayed in replying about my delayed email, because if I did delay and this poster scrolled through the many posts he would have seen that I indeed received my "sorry for the delay" delayed email. But I thought maybe he would be delayed in reading through all the pages of posts.

I really want the Mav and I’m cool to wait but some sort of oh sorry we screwed up would be nice!! And I have seen a couple SR and SR5 Tacomas around here I could probably swing just got to find the right dealer that isn’t going to try to charge me for stupid stuff, did find a base bronco ( which I really wanted) but the dealer want 55k for a base!! And thinks that’s fair

Yep, exact same thing. I ordered December of 2021 and haven't heard anything since from my dealer or Ford but then again, I haven't expected to either. My dealer was very upfront with possible wait times and gave me a 5-7 month minimum wait time. The way things are going I just assumed I'd be getting a 2023 model. That being said I'm prepared to wait. I couldn't believe it when I saw the email notification from Ford official, but my balloon was popped rather quickly. The email tells me absolutely nothing, but it's nice to hear from them, I guess?

What are the chances some summer temps write and send out some of these emails just to get a rise out of folks that have orders.

I can picture half a dozen or so (temps) with this web site up on a large screen reading our forum drinking coffee, eating donuts chuckling to themselves, and rating the responses.

Isn't that what the Director of Marketing, VP Dealer Relations and VP of North America Sales do with their staff? Because if they're delegating this to interns, it could explain a lot about all of these delays!
