So you are at the mercy of AT&T signal strength being 2 bars or less or bandwidth being restricted.

Just looked in my 2022 manual and it has instructions on how to connect fordpass using your wifi network. Several pages

Adding my 2025 2.0 eco to the list. 🙄. My 24 didn't have this issue

I was good again for a whole week, and then knocked offline yesterday. I’m glad I’m not alone but I wish Ford would acknowledge that there is an issue.

It just happened again yesterday. FordPass has been out the last 24 hours.

I've had my 25 since Feb 7, so about 2 weeks ago, and it just stopped working recently along with the Android Auto. Basically nothing that involved my phone worked anymore. Everything worked perfectly from the moment I drove off the lot but all of a sudden now it's all glitching out. I got the Android Autio issue fixed by deleting the phone off the info screen and re-adding it, but the FordPass still shows data from a week ago and won't remote start the truck. Both started having issues at the exact same time though, so I don't know if that helps point to what the cause is. I'm guessing some chip in the truck that communicates with the phone is buggy. I also recently started having a weird issue where it will start playing the most recent podcast I was listening to, but then after 5 seconds it will skip to the next podcast on my list and I have to manually go back

I've tried logging in, logging out, deleting the app, reinstalling it, nothing worked. I was gonna try resetting the FordPass connectivity on the truck info screen but wanted to check here first to see if anyone found a real fix yet before I waste time turning stuff of and on and potentially screwing up my Android Auto connection again.

Seems like this is a common issue with everyone so I guess I'll just wait for Ford to do something about it. I have regular remote start with the key fob but I preferred using the app because I can adjust the heat. I guess I'll just crank the heat and fan speed all the way before I turn the truck off and leave it to "use last settings" on the remote start settings screen. I sure as hell am not driving back to the dealer and spending an entire day there to "reset the modem"

Did anyone with the issue not upgrade from a previous model? I did, and I’m wondering if that’s a factor. Mine’s been ok since it sort of reset itself.

WOW this post brought back memories....
, the original 1958 Plymouth Fury "Christine" movie car still exists. It was sold at auction in 2020 for $275,000.

24MY has none.

While using a WiFi connection would be exactly like using Voice over WiFi option on phone (VPN connection between client on phone to carrier's server that allow an external connection) - it adds complexity and more chance of failure working well. I disable mine on new phones as the voice quality is always poor. Data wouldn't matter as much for latency and packet loss.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ford told ATT stop charging us for it and take the option down, we'll stop it on the truck side.
And yours doesn't actually work anymore.

Does anyone know if this is also related to my android auto not always connecting. My scheduled remote start fails 30% of the time and sometimes my wireless android auto also doesn't connect. It will try again and succeed after it fails though so it's not currently killing me.

And fixed again this morning. Only 48 hours of downtime.

Mine started working again last night so it was between 24 and 36 hours for me.

I've done absolutely nothing and it just randomly started working again.

More proof that this is something wrong on Ford's end and all the uninstalling/signing out/resetting things doesn't really matter

One weird thing I noticed is before, under the Service History, it used to have an entry from when the dealer received the truck and I guess did a check on everything before I picked it up, and that's gone now
