Ford cannot fill all the orders for 2023

I was also a rollover. It took 560 days give take a couple days to get a vin. Initial order middle of October 2021, email with a vin April 13, 2023

I'm at 547 days and counting...original order date of October 26, 2021

I know there aren’t allowing rollovers but I would ask your dealer to set you at the highest priority code they can.

After a 375 days waiting my dealer has informed me that Ford cannot fill all the orders for 2023 and i will only get my truck if I’m lucky and may have to order a 2024.

I ordered my truck in 9/22 on the last day the banks were opened. The dealer told me Ford Inc told them they were closing the bank early but they took mine and said I would probably get a 2024. Well I just received my Maverick on 5/3/23. I ordered an XLT Hybrid w/ luxury package, co-pilot and rear sliding window in cactus gray. My salesman and I were surprised how quickly I got mine. I was able to track production on shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking
I received my vin in mid February 2023 and it was delivered 5/2/23. There is hope. Good luck, it's worth the wait!

10/21/2021 order, still nothing. Ford confirms the order is in good standing but has nothing to add regarding scheduling production. Now I’m only tracking this so I can profit off the truck if it’s ever built. Also placing Ford in the bottom for vehicle choice next time. I understand production constraints, but delivering vehicles out of chronological order time and leaving customers waiting for nearly 2 years without information, where they have to perform feats of investigation worth of Sherlock Holmes to know what is happening is inexcusable.

I personally have been waiting 21 months for my order of a Maverick and all I can say about Ford is it at one time they were a great company not had nothing but a bunch of Rich uncaring assholes they forget that they built their name on the backs of the common Man Henry Ford should turn over in his grave God forgive me but I cannot feeling the anger that I do for this company now. Oh by the way if you worried about the president of the company doing anything for you or me he's too busy racing cars with his Rich buddy friends to even care about the little guy

Same thing happened in 2022. So what Ford did last year was roll over, if you wanted, your 2022 order to the 2023 model year, but they honored the 2022 price, even the new model year was higher priced. In my case, I got the 2023 model year Maverick for the 2022 price. Doesn't mean they will do that again, but possible.

At 375 days I wouldn't expect any news soon. I waited 616 days from first order date to delivery for a Laredo 360 Hybrid. I read where they are expecting to build around 80,000 2023 models of the Maverick and Bronco but didn't say how many of each, which means you have a good chance of getting an Eco as long as your dealership has allocations.

HA,HA, great post. Just like you in most every way. Ordered Nov 3 2021, now I'm what you call ' BALANCED OUT" ,if you can figure what that is. I think only Ford knows. CS says it still could get scheduled, but I doubt it very much. Good luck to you, your post made my day!!!!!

The good news is you'll have a much better idea if you are schedule or not by the time the order banks open (projected mid july). So if you have not been scheduled yet, you be able to order a my24.

I won’t be reordering. I’ll buy a used car off a lot. Used cars are getting cheaper and I don’t want to wait any longer.

My Hybrid XLT is scheduled to be built next week. Have VIN in hand. Surly you will have a decent chance as you have had your ordered longer than I have.

Theres many variables to consider. I was a 22 rollover )reorder. I switched my order in sept 22 to hybrid this time around and got the black appearance. Received my scheduled email in a month. Everyone has a different scenario.

I have ordered in April 2022 and again in September 2022 and all I get is from the dealer is we are waiting for a vin# from Ford. If I have to order again I will make a second order with a different dealer. That way I have double the chance of getting a Truck.

I instructed my GF to do that very thing.
Guess what, it was a good that she did. One of the dealers said they didn't get the allocations for her order to be filled.

The other Hybrid is scheduled for production this week. CYA folks, if you actually want to get your order.
