Theres many variables to consider. I was a 22 rollover )reorder. I switched my order in sept 22 to hybrid this time around and got the black appearance. Received my scheduled email in a month. Everyone has a different scenario.
None of those scenarios should included new MY23 orders being delivered before MY22 orders from 2021.

Im actually done with the maveric now. I ran across a Silverado this last weekend and took it for a spin. I stuck in my mind so hard i went back with the wife an hour later for 2nd run. I have told my dealer that i have purchased a truck elsewhere and want to cancle my order. They started to tell me that my $500 down to order is now non-refundable because they were bought by another dealership group. Nope, i will fight you on that, its not even scheduled as yet. Oh, ok, yes we will have one in the mail tomorrow. I wasnt even asked to sign anything to cancle it. Does any one else think this strange?
In any case, i will never again look to this dealer. It has been one story then another for months. My $ had better show up by next week. They have had it since sept of last year.

Not strange at all. Dealer sounds like they are very shady. Glad you are going elsewhere.
If they don't give your deposit back contact the attorney general, BBB and Ford Corporate. B

I ordered my truck in 9/22 on the last day the banks were opened. The dealer told me Ford Inc told them they were closing the bank early but they took mine and said I would probably get a 2024. Well I just received my Maverick on 5/3/23. I ordered an XLT Hybrid w/ luxury package, co-pilot and rear sliding window in cactus gray. My salesman and I were surprised how quickly I got mine. I was able to track production on shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking
I received my vin in mid February 2023 and it was delivered 5/2/23. There is hope. Good luck, it's worth the wait!
This whole process is so friggin weird. I ordered my XLT in October '21 and it took over a year and a half. In September '22 I wanted to change my order but couldn't so out of frustration I ordered an additional Lariat. I figured I had a year and a half to make up my mind, right? Got the XLT end of February and the Lariat comes in a month, less than six months after I ordered it! Going through a divorce figured I treat myself and exchanged the XLT for the Lariat. I got canceled 3 times last December then converted so the Maverick experience has been a roller coaster. But I'm finally very happy with my Maverick so it's worth it. Hang in there

Don't trust them. Stop in every day and ask where your cash is. Be that squeaky wheel and get in their face.

The Maverick has spawned a thousand soap operas.

After a 375 days waiting my dealer has informed me that Ford cannot fill all the orders for 2023 and i will only get my truck if I’m lucky and may have to order a 2024.
Keep your order AND order a '24.

Sorry Mr. Ford, I misspelled Lariat and my phone changed it to Laredo on send. I thought everyone would know what I meant so I didn't go back and edit it. I think you missed the whole point of my post. It was the fact that it was a hybrid not the particular trim package.

I also ordered mine 9/22 and production is scheduled for w/o 6/5. I asked salesman about price protection and he said my original price was protected. Yesterday they sent me the invoice I requested and it was based on the new pricing. I’m curious if you bought yours at the original price and did you have to pay the new, higher destination charge?

Don’t forget to write a review on Google! If they have your deposit you are technically a customer So they can’t have the review removed! Post a link and we can all “like” it and the review will stay at the top. i‘d bet you’ll get your deposit back real quick! I got numerous phone calls and a bouquet of flowers but wouldn’t delete my review of 1+ years ago and it’s still getting likes!

I was concerned about that as well but was only charged what was on my order sheet and window sticker which matched. I paid $28,965 plus tax/tags. Good luck!

Thank you! I asked about the window sticker but was told it wouldn’t be available until it went into production. I do have my VIN though.

I went through the same thing last year. Ordered a 2.0 EB Jan 2022. Was told by my dealer prior to September reorder when to come in. Reordered a Hybrid in September with a "priority code" and took delivery Feb 2023. Glad I switched engines. Stay close to your dealer to get queued up, and ask about any "private offer" from Ford........
