“We’re going to need a bigger truck!”
Yeah, It’s like that! Too much bag for the little Mav! Maybe my next vehicle will be a hybrid monster truck!
The bag did lift my truck effortlessly of course, but the huge 20” diameter of the inflated bag reached into and deflected the flexible cardboard-tex splash shield.
I was able to place jack stands, and complete my seasonal wheel change.
But I wrongly guessed the center gravity point, so I will reevaluate the lift bags performance when I swap back to winter wheels this fall!
I will then reevaluate exactly where, and what the lift bag contacts at the correct lift point for center of gravity front to rear.
I will also construct a square wooden 6” tall box to contain the base of the bag to help center and direct the expanding missile to the target area! (Sorry, insert laugh track)
