I've jacked up the truck a few ways. First way is jacking up the front, by putting the jack pad under the main bolt were the front lower control arm meets the subframe/ crossmember.

This contact point is the bottom of a thick boxed tube that ascends and bolts directly into the sub-floor of the car. It carries the entire dynamic weight of the truck during driving, so it'll have no problem bearing the weight when the car is static. See red box of second photo.

I got these jack pads with a groove cut in them from amazon to straddle the pinch weld. They're cheap and I'm too lazy to go buy hockey pucks and cut channels in them.

I've found these jack stands to be very sturdy and well constructed.

I place the jack stands at the factory frame rail pinch-weld lift points, where the arrows are on the rocker panels

Lot's of room to spill hot oil on your hands.

Reverse and lower. Ah, forgot to mention, don't forget to set your parking brake and chalk your rear tires at the very beginning.

Great photos of the jacking points and tools.
Thank you

I am not putting the jack stand and jack in the same spot, but they are both on the pinch weld that holds the floor pan, pillar supports and rocker panel on the truck. That weld is about 4 feel long and runs from just behind the front wheel well to just in front of the rear wheel well.
I was just about to crawl under my new 2025 XLT AWD Hybrid to check the pinch welds I've been reading about on this thread and another when I read your statement here. So you're referring to that whole strip of "extruded seam" (for want of another term)? I admit I haven't studied my manual about this yet, but I'd been under my 2024 and hadn't seen a specific "jack point." In fact, I figured that whole "ridge" needed to be avoided when jacking the Mav up. With the adapter, I guess that's exactly what one is doing though. Well, duh. OK. Having that whole under-edge available for jacking is actually quite cool. I need to order some appropriate adapters now for when I need to jack things up!

Thanks!

You still need to be at the pinch welds. They are only about 4” long. There are triangles in the black plastic sill trim that point to them. The adapter just protects that weld when using a jack with a flat bearing surface.

Consulting the manual on this is a great idea.

LOL... oh shucks. Well, I'm the one with the wrong Maverick manual loaded to my dash display computer... which tell me my 2025 Hybrid AWD must NOT be neutral towed! But I imagine the pinch weld info you describe is the same in the outdated manual in my dash. Or I have found the right manual on my Ford page, so I could read it on my computer.

Thanks for evaporating that silly dream of 4' long jacking flexibility. Ha
