Wish the OP, could share US an update... 🤔

Yes, the body does seem to set in the rear..
I thinks, He was trying to match the height of the Original Tailgate...

Possible, Rear View..

There will be an update when the parts are ready. I was not trying to match the rear tailgate. I don't know what you mean set in the rear. That makes zero sense.

Maybe the person was talking about squat from your modifications changing the weight balance of the truck? It is an odd comment none the less.

Hmmm.

The OP spent "two years" building this without ever once posting on either this forum or the Reddit forum progress reports or technical questions before these images showed up the same day in both places? The OP has posted countless words on both sites about this build, and yet when repeatedly asked to post more than the three same photos-- each taken at far remove from the actual rear of the truck-- refuses to post any more, despite the fact that taking such photos and uploading them takes a literal minute.

Meanwhile, everyone else here and over there is speculating feverishly, asking reasonable questions about the build, what the rear actually looks like, its functionality, how it's safely mounted on the unibody frame, or a dozen other questions that could all be easily answered with a few more photos.

I'm sorry my internet skepticism is shining through, but this wouldn't be the first time someone has put up fake photos to generate buzz. Until there are new photos with genuine proof in this thread or on Reddit, I'll just say that this sure is a nice Photoshop / AI job getting everyone excited.

I look forward to being proven wrong!

I don't know about the set, I think it may just be an optical illusion based on the square lines of the box vs the stylized lines of the original truck. The box appears tilted down to me. Really have to measure to know otherwise.

I think it was leveled to the ground more than the truck's lines.

I have no doubt it exists. Very basic shell. The paint appears to be gloss without a clear coat. Fully attached to the truck? That can be debated.

Me thinks the rear is very unfinished and not showroom ready which is why the lack of pictures. Doesn't look like there is a bumper in the pics we got. It's also a bit low (something to adjust in V2) so it might look like a lego set. :p

My props to the OP for sharing. I'm not one so show off unfinished projects.

Seems to me like you need a wide body option. More like a traditional service body. Maybe 3 more inches per side. Would probably almost double the storage space.

I can assure you its not tilted down. Every existing ford line was used as refence and all cuts in the new bedsides were done at square angles and cut by laser...its an optical illusion at most.

The peanut gallery is loud on this one. 🤦‍♂️

People have upgraded brakes before, and not everyone posts every single mod - like OP's other 350hp Maverick build. But that truck exists, and people have seen it at a meet-up.

I'm gathering OP is trying to preserve some intellectual property rights here so this can be marketed later, hence the reluctance to share too much yet.

For the record, this setup is absolutely nothing I am interested in, but I have to admit I am curious about the final product. Not curious enough to perform an inquisition, though...

I think this will be popular. If the storage / utility comes along with the good looks.

At a glance, 1500 lbs cargo (or 14xx lbs based on trim) for this little truck seems a stretch. It isn't. I've gone up to it and beyond. This could be a real tool hauler.

Best of luck. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

For me, I could really really use a 5 foot bed. I had no idea I owned so many things that are 4'8". Always an inch or two from being able to close the tailgate on mine.
