WOW IMPRESSIVE!Took the Maverick for it’s first tow behind the Motorhome. A quick 16 mile round trip to fill the RV with gas. Maverick was so easy to put in tow mode and it towed perfectly. This is the number one reason we purchased this vehicle and we are so happy to finally get a tow in. Can’t wait for the first actual camping trip.

Just returned from a 3600 mile trip towing our Maverick. Hardly feel it behind our 2022 Bay Star. Up and down I5 Northern Cal. Mountains without issue. Only once the truck went into deep sleep and that was self induced. I couldn’t source a one way diode to install on our charge line before we left and forgot to unplug the toad on a quick overnighter. Woke up in the morning and the motorhome had drawn the Maverick 12v below the 9.5v threshold. Jump started it with the MH and wife drove it to the first rest area and started towing again. Truck now has more towed miles than driven miles.

Since this old thread has been re-surfaced, and the Demco baseplate wasn't available back then, here's a reminder that the DEMCO baseplate is the only baseplate that doesn't have issues, as well-defined elsewhere in the Forum.
I have heard Roadmaster might not have one to fit the 2025 radar sensor yet? Has anyone heard different for that yet??

Far more important than not cutting the lower fascia is that the Roadmaster requitres destroying the lower active shutter system, risking warranty issues with Ford. Demco doesn't.
I don't believe any one of the three, Roadmaster, Blue Ox, or Demco has gotten a design for the altered 2025 yet. The ugly fascia holes are the least of your worries if you put a 2-piece Blue Ox baseplate on a 2022-2024 Maverick.
