I just did the IPC config change to my ’24 XLT Hybrid, 4 inch screen, but I only changed line 720-13-01 and 720-13-02 to ALL ZEROS. I did NOT change line 720-14-01 and 720-14-02 to ALL ZEROS. I left these as built.
Seat belt buckled map screen now no longer pops up. Thanks for info.
While I was in the Forscanning mood, I also disabled leaving my key in ignition chime.
As far as the SBR chime, I had previously disabled the seat belt chime via the instructions from the Maverick’s owner’s manual.

If you would like to keep the Minder (the dash light and chime) and not the Monitor (the seatbelt screen) I would suggest doing the following coding based on this diagram and my original coding in my Maverick.

720-13-01 9100 0001 8000
720-13-02 0110 1000
720-14-01 1000 0000 0000
720-14-02 All Zeros

Good to know. On my maverick 720-14-02 was already all ZEROs from the factory but I did not know if this was the case for ALL Mavericks. My 720-14-01 was all Zeros except the first digit which was originally a 2. Which according to the coding in the spreadsheet has to do with the seatbelt monitor.

All of these settings are easily reversible to what they came from the factory as. I always save my factory settings that I can revert back too. You can even check out all of your factory coding at this link https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

Nice try though Mike!

I tried just doing the 720-13-01 and 02 to zeros, but it didn't kill the pop-up. When I did 720-14-01 and 02 it worked! Shout out to @EONR24 for this fix! I have a '23 EB Lariat Lux FX4 4K.

I need to get forscan. I hate that I can NOT right away click center console button into Eco mode on my hybrid,. I have to first hit the dam steering wheel button to clear this seat belt crap till its off then I can go into Eco mode.

I bet anyone who says it doesn't bother them never go into Eco mode. Or what ever mode on 2.0.

The information section is still under vehicle settings and still shows everything including the TPMS. The only thing it doesn’t show is seatbelt! Thank you to everyone for confirming this works! So far it has worked for every Maverick year and trim!

I don't use the screen to go into a drive mode. I just count the mode selector button in my 22 lariat hybrid three times as fast as I want to go into slippery mode. The 22 xlt lux requires slower button pushes or the computer will mis one. I don't drive it as much but if I remember correctly it takes one additional push. In lariat it's 123 in XLT it's 1,&,2,&,3,&4. I do not wait for screens to display while pushing selector. I actually don't think of lariat or XLT I just look at color of truck when I get in red = fast pushes gray = slow pushes.

Has a coding for default drive mode been found yet? I have the extra FX4 drive modes right now and it would be cool to default to eco! I’d be willing to dive back into the coding and figure it out.

As far as I know default drive mode cannot be changed and in prior posts the consensus was that had to remain default due to EPA mpg certification plus the possibility that some of the startup procedures are integrated with regular. One member designed a device that did the button pushes after an elapsed delay timer. Good luck if you choose to try.

I think I need to get myself one of these devices because recently I've become annoyed with this. I'm always clearing it out so I can view the stuff that is under that graphic.
