Just put 17” DM-V2 tires on my ’24 XLT Hybrid this past Tuesday, Costco Tire $630 out the door, mounted on truck. Wow, what a difference in behavior. We currently have a lot of ice and snow here now, Michigan. I bought some OE take off steel wheels from a forum member last year and ordered...
As I recall and noted above, the female connector would merely act as a debris cap on the speaker. So yes, functionally you’d only need the male to connector and terminals to wire in the resistor and thereby inhibit any CEL or throw a DTC. Sorry it’s been a while since I did this and I...
Gotta peel back the front driver side wheel well liner but you can then wiggle your arm in to get at the speaker connector..I had my truck on a hoist and took off front tire. Made it much easier. I thought about taking the bumper cover off but that could be opening a bigger can of worms...
Another similar experience, data point..went south in my other truck, left the ’24 hybrid Maverick (build /In-service date: Feb 2024, currently ~11k miles) in cold garage Nov 7 and returned Dec 4th, key'ed on and engine immediately fired and drove as normal. Engine ran for a while presumably...
For my truck, turning on the Ford Pass for a week or two yielded $221 Ford points credit (for purchase of truck) which I used toward buying the OE bed mat and some extended warranty on my Super Duty. Hated leaving that kind of money on the table. Once the points were debited off my Ford Pass...
Just go to Ford parts, buy current trim covers (perhaps cushion foam too, they get worn also) and store in closet. Best fitting covers made. Then in a few years, replace worn out covers. Too easy to swap out.
So agree! I’ve owned 4 hybrids back to 2006 and a Focus BEV…none of which ran over anyone and none having the external speaker…Distracted or poor drivers are the issue that no level of speaker generated noise will overcome running someone over. Noise generation system mandate is not needed and...
Nice creative work.. Nice to be able to truly make what you want. Thanks for sharing.
Are the 4 tapped screw holes in the slider corners the means by which you “clamp” the slider in the desired position on the 80/20 extrusion?
Versus L-track brackets mechanically lock into desired...
I pulled out 3 of the 5 pcs that make up the DIBL…2 side pcs and floor. Too slick and retains debris. Then dropped in the Ford OE bed mat…perfect for my needs. I don’t plan on carrying anything that would scratch up the sidewalls. But if sidewalls do get scratched up then Line-X the whole bed...
Both ends of the MPG spectrum...
F350 (7.3) around town 13 mpg (48 gal tank), Maverick 45+ mpg
F350 highway 16mpg, Maverick 36 mpg
Can’t tow my TT nor plow my drive with Maverick but it does just about everything else you ask of pick-up. Love these 2 trucks!
I made my own side rails as the Ford offered system is too limited and pricey for what you get.
from un-drilled L-track stock…I’ve seen stock in black but can’t recall source...

No magic...In this case, looking at what was on my harness end, take some dimensions, pictures then some internet research. Dig deep enough and someone may have already done the research and posted somewhere. Plus, I’ve dealt enough with Ford wiring looms to know they only source a few...
THIS^^^^^. I have purchased 3 of these for my vehicles over the years. Seat cushion portion heavily padded and waterproof. My 65# Lab has tested their durability for over 5 years…leather seats underneath remain as new.
