Finally a Larger Touchscreen on 2025 MY Refresh?

I'm not sure if it has already been posted, but just saw some very interesting spy photos on a Bronco Sport test vehicle. It appears to have a much larger touchscreen. Here's to hoping Ford makes this available on the Maverick in 2025 MY.

Would be my guess that this would be coming, however if demand keeps up through 24 they might just wait till the FMC in 27.

Unfortunately Ford will likely not just update the screen but most likely to 4 or 4A and it will not be backwards compatible for existing Mavs.

Also based on the new Ranger and F-Series - there will be two screen sizes for the Maverick - XL, XLT will get smaller/basic screen while Lariat will get what you see pictured.

Given that this has been an industry standard way of doing things for almost as long as LCD screens have been a standard feature in vehicles, that shouldn't surprise anyone. In many ways the Maverick is the odd ball, only having one screen size on all trim levels.

And the Bronco Sport already had a bigger screen than the Maverick so that's no reason to assume it would carry over.

All Bronco Sport and Maverick production units to date have had 8" touch screens.

Ah, you're right. Guess it just looks larger without the cubby next to it on the Maverick.

based on that image it has sync 4 since what I see is the sync 4 unreal theme pictured and sync 4 has already been put into multiple mavericks without much modification. It’s going to be just like swapping sync 2 to sync 3 was on older fords.

That’s good! I do hope a larger screen and other changes will motivate people to trade in their current Mavs to help out the used market though.

On the bright side, this could boost the used Mav supply in the nearer future.
