Since you have a hybrid, huge manly tires will kill your fuel economy.
I personally wouldn't run any all terrain tires, I'd stick to a good road tire.
Also don't recommend going too big, 245/65/17 is the largest you should go.

I also have a hybrid and went with 235/70/17 Kumho Crugen (because they were WAY cheaper than michelin defenders) and they turned out to be great tires.

Yeah, they are the lighted of OEM wheels and I got them for a good price.

alloy wheels - these are "bronco sport" wheels but the same as bap are 25.3 lb ( rim only)

I have a 2024 Lariat and picked up a set of the 17-inch OEM steel wheels to use a winter set. I got winter tires at Costco and after they installed the tires, they refused to put the steelies on because I didn't have hub rings for them. Do I really need hub rings with OEM wheels?

58.0 is considerably lighter than I expected for a 19.

It took some digging, but I finally found a claimed weight of 26.0 pounds for this tire on tirerack.com - Goodyear's own site doesn't list the weight.

If your scale is relatively accurate, and the tirerack's number is accurate as well, that would suggest the factory 19x7.5 wheel is 32.0 pounds.

Thanks! I swapped the factory rims and tires for some 20s that are around 25lbs. Noticed a bit of a difference. But I'm speculating I'll at least get better gas milage.

I assume you mean the wheels are 25 pounds. What do the tires weigh, or what's the combined 20" tire & wheel weight?

New rims are 25 pounds according to Ashanti's website. Have not weighed new rims and tires yet. But I'm speculating my over all weight is a lil less than the dinner plate stockers.

I’ve got stock 18 on my two Mav’s. I’d like to swap them out but I’m wanting to go smaller. I like the 17 on the XLT taller sidewall tires means softer ride.
