The 3/36000 warranty isn't the best, has anyone found a fair price extended warranty that covers the necessities. When I bought my hybrid last year the dealer offered one that seemed good until he changed the price we had agreed on. Price went from 1600 to over 3500, tried to sneak it through on the paper work. Just looking for electrical and drive train, not actually bumper to bumper, just something to cover big ticket items.

I have read many others say Granger ford. I don't know where it's out of, but if you search extended warranty you might find it. I went through my dealer. Got the "bumper to bumper" extended warranty. Ten years, 100000 miles, no deductible and paid 1995. It's weird they call it bumper to bumper yet the bumpers aren't covered under the warranty... 😂

Thanks, I'll try to find and check it out.

I bought a 10/100k at Granger for $1300 after using my Ford points from purchase. It's around $11/month. I got the $200 deductible because I wanted it for big failures, like if engine or transmission crap out, or some electronic issue.

There are some states it isn't allowed to be bought in, but you can get a PO Box or use an address of a relative to just consummate the purchase. They don't care, and this won't invalidate the warranty.

Whatever you do, make sure it's genuine FORD ESP and not some dealer specific crap.

Granger got my business.

Bumper damage? Yea... that's totaled 🤣

$11 a month? Was that monthly for 10years? They only offered me 18 months payment but it was cheaper than the Ford offer by email and waaaaay cheaper than the one I cancelled thru the dealer. I went with 8years/100k with the $100 deductible and the first day rental and extended rental. Just bought it today cuz they got me with a good price and are saying prices are gonna go up in Sept.

lol I read that too. Probably a typo.

I got the 100k 8 year one as well. Same as you.

I was going to finance but there is no reporting to credit bureaus, so unless you need it, no reason to.

Choose wisely, the number of years and the mileage. We tow our Maverick as much as we drive it, so I chose an 8 yr, 36000 mile Premiumcare ESP warranty from @Granger Ford for both our 2023 and 2024. Granger is a sponsor here, and you should be able to buy from them if you are in Texas.

Here's our 2024 warranty. Includes first day rental and Lights for $475.

@Montana @asylus I believe @inline_five meant his extended warranty averages out to $11 a month over the lifetime of the 10 years of his warranty.

I also got the 8 yr/100k, $100 deductible warranty Premium care ESP from Granger.
I added 1st day loaner and internal/external lighting coverage too.

Yep I paid for it online so it was a one time deal. I didn't finance my Maverick. I just thought for $11/month it was super cheap coverage for what the premium care ESP offered. And I never buy them.

$1300/120 months = $10.83

That was the premium care ESP. I didn't finance the Maverick so just paid for this online at Granger.

Measuring from underneath. Roof not covered either. Interior debateable. Definitely not side mirrors. Don't even ask about side mirrors.

Do a search for Extended Warranties in the search box in the upper right hand corner. You'll come up with quite a bit of conversations about extended warranties. I wrote several long responses about where I stand on those needless warranties and why they're not worth it.
