I know you meant 7 years, not months! but I think the 10 year plan lets you be covered, and when you sell ,or trade in, after 7, or 8 years, you can transfer the remaining years to the next owner, who will pay more for that truck. If you trade in, you can receive a refund when you cancel the policy.Earlier discussions on extended warranty led me to purchasing the 10/100 program also. But you are correct, it is really only 7 months, 64K miles more than factory warranty. Still worth it if you plan on keeping Maverick for a while.
