I tried to install this but I cant remove the OEM screws as they are Torx plus. I bought some bits that I thought would work and tried tp25, tp27 and tp30 but they wouldnt fit. either too small or too large. Any help would be appreciated

I did and it was there and today I just got an email from the selling dealership advising to set a service visit for it but they 3 hours away. I dont tow anything anyway but I'll ask my local Ford dealer to check it when I do my next oil change.

I hadnt taken mine in cuz it also said no fix yet. I wonder if there was an update via wifi for us non over the air updaters.

24 lariat tremor, I had the recall in the app maybe a few days after I read it in an email and on here. Today I look at the app and the recall is no longer listed? Anyone else have the recall disappear?

I understand sound deadening but we arent going down a rabbit hole about how that works, we are talking about engine noise and an add-on that is being said to suppress it. I would imagine any sound deadening would be primarily in the firewall or the doors for any real concerns.
