Well, 26 miles isn't much of a demonstration. Too easy to manipulate ( see any number of Hybrid threads...). Show us what it shows after a tankful or two. Then show how many gallons were pumped in to show ACTUAL fuel mileage!

I see your point I was just surprised at how efficient it can be and getting 600 miles a tank is beyond my expectations

Expect that to settle closer to 32 mpg. I'm averaging 23mpg after 2,235 miles but have towed a trailer for over 10% of that.

We had two tanks >=32 mpg (32.0 and 32.6) on a recent trip of all highway driving. It probably would have been higher if we'd taken a few MPH off.. :)

This was 'hand calculated' - the trip computer showed a slightly higher number.

Still super, super pleased with this mileage.

600 miles SHOULD be beyond your expectation as it will not happen...

I drive my Hybrid out of my garage and frequently show 999.99 MPG on the display.... I have a high degree of confidence I won't be getting 14,000 miles on a single tank.....

I get about 32 mpg on 2 lane highways with northwest Georgia hills over the course of a full tank of gas. That's hand calculated and recorded on fuelly. I have adjusted my AFE Factor to get the dashboard MPG readout to be more accurate.

42+ is likely a short trip and an over exaggeration by the uncalibrated dashboard readout.

I got better than this on a 2007 HHR. It got about 50 MPG but you'd have to drive 40 MPH to get that. Your Ecoboost looks like it was a 36 mph ride on Average. You must've hated that ride.

I was very surprised at how efficient this little truck is. Anyone else getting these numbers?

22 AWD ecoboost On one short trip of 50 miles got 45.5mpg according to truck. Best I’ve done on a full tank was 37.6 mpg, 605 miles 16.1 gallons. I was getting a bit nervous about it as it was showing 10 miles to empty when I pulled up to pump. That was all on a trip averaging 55-65 mph. With elevation varying 150 feet.

Overall since bought the truck 15,000 miles I’m averaging right at 33.5mpg.

Tremor - so totally different ball game but I am average 25.5mpg over 4,700 miles - using 93 top tier fuel.

Currently paying about a 20% premium for 93 over 87 so if I adjust my MPG to account for that I'm looking at 20mpg.

For those numbers I'd rather have a 5.0L F-150 Tremor but I can't (won't) afford another $33k for it.
