No doubt... we won't die without our Mav. And there is something to be said about driving old reliable Honda CRV that you don't mind having someone ram a shopping cart into it.Already too late, I think. Mob mentality has taken over. I don't expect to take delivery of my order. I fully expect the dealership to play tricks, markups, etc, in which case I'm out. The value proposition will quickly be lost.
The Mav is really nice, but not any type of "quality of life" upgrade. My old minivan eats payload for breakfast, I upgraded the rear shocks. It's cheap and paid for with plenty of power. In fact, a new Mav will set my retirement savings back a year. The Maverick isn't a game changer, this is simply a supply and demand issue.
