Hello everyone,
Does the maverick’s horn honk when filling it with air? My Frontier did and it was a great feature. Thanks for all replies in advance.

As far as I know the Maverick does not. I had a Nissan Rogue that had this and thought it was a nice feature.
The one that gets me is Honda still does not show you individual tire pressure

eh..just curious why would that be a great feature? It seems sort of ridiculous but hey I'm here to learn
If it was accurate it would be great, then you wouldnt need a tire pressure gage. Just air, know and go!!

It lets you know when the tires are set to the correct pressure so you can move on to the next one and you don't have to walk back to check the info cluster on the dash, or if you don't have a tire pressure gauge handy.

you shouldn't be adding air without a gauge anyway and the maverick has the actual psi per tire shown in the info menu on dash !

Saw this feature is on the new Colorado. I air down sometimes for long drives on forest service roads and think it'd be cool to have when airing up. There's no new hardware required, so it shouldn't be that hard to implement.

Thanks.
Having never heard of this, I was having trouble reading OP's mind to figure out what they were talking about.
WOW. This could be a whole separate thread. "Are you having trouble reading OP's mind? Why? Which mind is the cause? Etc....

I like the horn idea.
I have a few different air pressure gauges. All of them read different pressures.

Ford Maverick Does horn honk when tires fill to correct air pressure? 20241219_105053

I feel sorry for the folks with OCD chasing the dash displayed tire pressures.

I have a similar, cheaper inflator and it's super useful to dial in 35psi, connect it and start it, then walk away.

Maybe yours is better, but mine starts to get real hot and you can smell the warm plastic after I do about 4-5 tires.

Just for the hell of it, though, when I re-inflated a few weeks ago after cold weather set in, I did all 12 tires amongst our vehicles and it didn't die. It smelled like it might catch on fire at any moment, though. LOL
