Well, if i knew the truck came with a spare thin tire, i would not have ordered the full size spare, $115 down the drain.

We got robbedOkay, I'll bite; HOW can Ford advertise and sell a Full Size Tire that is less than Full Size?
Oh boy tire size brain exercise!based on that sticker the “full size” spare is 1.3” shorter than the on the ground size, or 4.6%.
not sure how fords AWD system is but I know on a lot of AWD cars thats a big no no.
im gonna hazard a guess that I don’t care how much inflated it is, it won’t grow 1.3” in height.Ok, ca
Oh boy tire size brain exercise!
Does the smaller full size spare at 39 lbs (compared to the not full size spare inflated to 60lbs) have the same rolling radius as the 4 "standard" size tires at 35 lbs? Also does the small size spare have 3/32" tread and the full size tire have 6/32" and the standard tire have 9/32"? Also notice the spare has 100 weight range instead of 102 but since they all are H speed rated you can drive FAST to the tire shop!
The "full-sized spare" is 215/60R17 compared to 225/65R17 on the other 4 wheels of an XL.![]()
I owned a 2010 Forester bought new & it started to use oil about 75k miles. Blown head gasket. That engine had a timing belt so belt, tensioner, pulleys, water pump both head gaskets & $ 3500 later I had my fill of Subaru. Never again will I buy a boxer even in a Porcshe.Does any maverick trim have TPMS? A base subaru forester...more roomy...no pickup bed....is better equipped for $25k and 33mph highway...just comparing and saw the base model includes TPMS which I check often.
Thanks.
What oil brand were you using ?I owned a 2010 Forester bought new & it started to use oil about 75k miles. Blown head gasket. I wasn’t clear....many cars have the TPMS as an idiot light, but in the subaru it has a screen with the individual pressures listed...not simply a ”tire!“ icon.....has anyone seen if the maverick has the individual pressures in a menu or screen? It‘s nice to see if one tire is low and which one rather than manually checking the pressure to find the offending tire. All new cars, trucks, and SUVs have TPMS, ever since the TREAD Act was passed in 2008.But kudos to Subaru for doing the same thing everyone else is doing...![]()

Mobil 1. That said Boxer engines have a tendency of failed head gaskets. The oil can't completely drain & just lays on the gasket. BMW / Honda motorcycles & Porcshe boxers ALL have this problem. What oil brand were you using ?
I had rear main seal leak on my camry with just 30k using mobil 1, never again, will be going Castrol edge with the Maverick and been using Pennzoil on the camry ever since that happened.Mobil 1.
