What - don't you like fishing!
I thought it was for deploying the parachute.I noticed it last night. Driver side rear wheel well.
It's a green tab like plastic thing. I can pull it back and forth but I can't remove it. I mean if I pull hard enough I probably can but I don't want to break it. Anybody know what this is or if it's anything important?
Many thanks!

Rapid disassembly release cable. If you pull really hard the truck turns into a pile of parts.OK time for wrong answers ...
My guess:Glomming on to your thread to ask about another part:
Thoughts on what this bracket is for? It's under the hood, passenger side near the windshield (My25 Lariat Hybrid)

My guess:
One of several unused brackets intended for mounting items not applicable to your MY hybrid.
My vehicle has the same unused bracket.
I suspect someone with a 25 EB has something attached to it...
In any case, not to worry, stuff like this happens a lot.![]()
It appears to be a multi-use bracket. The item I have my finger on in my picture , is attached to the bottom of the bracket.Glomming on to your thread to ask about another part:

Typical flux capacitor mounting is behind or above the rear passenger seat or a heat resistant bulkhead suitable to significantly reduce the wiring distance to the Mr. Fusion, as long cables to support the instantaneous transfer of 1.21 gigawatts of power would get hot enough to melt through the truck chassis...Yep, that's what I figured, too. I was thinking about using it as a place to mount my after-market flux capacitor.
Owners manual? You know, ford should really make the tab a little bigger and emboss "FUEL DOOR RELEASE" on it. Would stop all the questions from confused owners.
For some reason most people don't sit down and read the owner's manual front to back when they purchase a new vehicle like a lot of us on here do.Owners manual?![]()
