Do people flock to your Maverick?

Ironically I live in Santa Cruz CA...
I REALLY tried to buy the Hyundai Santa Cruz..

After dealing with the Hyundai wolves ... and $10k mark up ... horrible dealer experience trying to buy one...

I drove my Mav... Lariat FX4 at the local dealer..
Fell in love and took it home.

To me its nicer, more comfortable, and better looking.

Better off road performance. Better day to day driver and $10k less than the Santa Cruz.

I love this vehicle.

I owned an F150 FX4 for years and it was the best truck - drove it for 246,000 miles.

AND yeah... everywhere I go - people take pics, videos, ask me stuff and in general get excited about my Area 51 Lariat FX4 Maverick.

Pretty cool to be an ambassador for this awesome lil truck.

You got no confirmation email from Ford? I got it 20 min after leaving the dealership

I am not sure if it is canada thing but I got nothing from Ford. My dealer showed the order form, I did see the order number but that is all I got.

Canada doesn't get confirmation emails apparently. All i got was a picture from my dealer with my specs and she said the order was confirmed from Ford. They send emails to dealers. If you want more info you will have to check with your dealer. I haven't heard anything on mine either. I ordered in August and really don't expect to hear anything until December. I ordered an XLT EcoBoost.

I finally saw my first real-world Mav this weekend on the highway outside of Chicago, and definitely did some Chicago-type driving maneuvers to get to a better spot to see it from. Unfortunately it was a black XL with ridiculous wide tires, so basically looked nothing like mine will, but it was still like spotting a mythical beast in the wild so I went to bed feeling accomplished that night.

A tow truck driver came to the house to haul away the 20-year-old Ranger we donated to charity and he absolutely loved the Mav. He assumed it was a modern Ranger; he'd never heard of the Maverick at all (a lot of people haven't yet).

I’m sure I’m not the only one dealing with this. 9 times out of 10 when I stop somewhere, gas station, grocery store, etc. people walk up and want a closer look and want to know the details of this truck. Always a good conversation to have! I think it’s pretty cool how much people seem to like the Maverick, and they’re always blown away when I tell them how much it cost!

Yep, had a guy in a Buick rendezvous follow me and honk. I pulled into the gas station and next thing I know I have five people looking at my truck. Had a lady tell me it's perfect to tow her little trailer with her miniature pony in it, ha!
