So how many hours did it take to remove the 1/4 panel? Asking for those of us that might want to rust/sound proof the insides there.

I'm not suggesting carrying a house moving jack kit...perhaps some camping gear, trailer accessories (for our Tear Drop, 900 pounds, dry), stove, things like that...that said...thanks for the reality check on weight.
Not really worried about security as true security seems impossible given the light duty construction of the Maverick overall...nothing here that could not be defeated with a simple 18 inch pry bar.
We had a Ridgeline for 15+ years...going to miss that large, secure (out of sight, out of mind) and dry trunk under the bed.

I opened my back doors the other day and noticed there was muddy water spots on the inside of the cab in the door openings. I got to looking and noticed that there is a gap where the rear fenders bolt to the cab that is allowing stuff to get thru. Did you do anything to close this gap? I was thinking maybe silicone or something. Any thoughts?

Since it's bolt on, wouldn't it have been easier to paint first separately and then bolt it to the truck?

I addressed that actually in the video - the metal is so dang thin I felt it wound be better / more stable painting on the truck.

Unfortunately they don't come painted so yeah putting a new one on is not that bad however I still have to paint it lol The price of a rear quarter panel will range from 700 to $800 depending on which dealer you go to and your relationship with them.

Not sure if you posted how long it took to get the part, but I'd be shocked if it was less than a month.
