Bolts and washers can usually be found at a hardware store like Lowes or Home Depot.

Hello Ryan, please let me know where you bought 8 bolts (8 x 1.25 x 3/4” long) . thanks
We have a few options for this type of hardware here in Eastern Canada, I bought mine from Home Hardware, but for a more North American option I suspect Home Depot is a good bet. They are available on Amazon and likely most hardware stores like Lowes and such as well.

I think your idea is better than my 5/16 eye bolts. I may have to re-think my decision .

I never understood the need for sliding tie-downs when each bed side has 2 existing tie-downs and 4 bolt holes, the bed is only 4.5 feet long! I wanted to add a tie down to each bolt hole but I wanted something a little less obtrusive than the big eye rings. So I made some short loops from some parachute webbing to add to each bed side. Only cost me 8 bolts (8 x 1.25 x 3/4” long) and some washers. The holes in the webbing I made using a soldering iron to melt the material and prevent fraying and to keep the holes from opening up further after installation. Super simple, super cheap, and gives me plenty of tie-down options for if I ever need them.

What width webbing did you use?

If you have rails, You can get these at Amazon. You just have to do a quick modification to fit them into your rails. I have a post on here “Truck Bed Rail Tie Downs” for reference.

Doing similar stuff to my Maverick I like to use stainless steel plain or black coated where appropriate. If I can't find on Amazon I've had good luck with https://www.fastenere.com/ a small company with a great selection.

Correction: Instead of black coated, I meant black coated stainless steel
