Bed side tie downs not equidistant 🤨

Got my truck last week of June and got a bedrug right after. I wanted the rail system but personally don’t think it’s worth the cost so I bough some hooks instead. As I’m poking thru the bedrug it tripped me out as to why the holes are not equidistant from each other. My OCD does not like this somehow it never caught my attention when the bed was bare. Oh and those are M8s while the factory two-bolt hooks are M6

My factory side rails are only retained by (3) bolts on each side. Counting from the left in your picture, holes 1, 3 and 5. And like your pic, #3 is not centered. Did you drill and tap holes 2 and 4 or were they present? I also have the factory SIBL and don't see holes 2 and 4 on mine, but they could be covered..

Same here. I questioned if it was proprietary, so it wasn’t simple to DIY bed rails etc?
I had to re-drill mine for this reason also
