I'd like to see how people are setting it up inside for switching on/off.
Added my own switch lower right. One above it is blue and will be for ambient lighting.

I have to agree with what someone else said, I don't usually like lowered trucks. Just not my thing. But.. that really looks nice! Our HPR just went into production on the tracker today! My husband wanted the yellow fog lights. We go to work at all hours of the day and night and want extra critter spotting lights!
Not sure we are really up to doing all that to get them though!
I would be ok with the cutting and removing the bumper, it is the electrical stuff that scares the crap out of me!
The wiring is EXTREMELY easy. A simple pair of pliers is all you need, no cutting or splicing. I'm not crazy about the included splices but I'll redo them with a better solution later.

Im sure Ford will add them sooner or later, probably as a Lariat only option. My Suburban is my hauler of broken hot rods, new projects and boats. I have a '26 Sleekcraft that will be painted to match the Suburban soon.

Thank you. I was a little concerned about the yellow/HPR contrast but that worry is gone now. Tires are BF Good rich 235/55R19's

Agreed on all accounts! 🤜🏻

Thank you!

I appreciate it!

The kit comes with a roughly 5/8" on/off switch with an LED. I mounted mine directly below my headlight switch.

Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to ditch the tow hooks in favor of these fog lights. There's always jjc-llc.com if you want to keep the top hooks.

If you're near SW Utah I'd be more than happy to help you. It's really pretty easy.

The yellow fogs were a pretty big stretch for me.

Enjoy your install and post pics here for the rest of us!

Funny that your original post has been edited.

Yep, a piece of cake. Sorry I don't detail installing tailgate stickers, wind deflectors, a center console organizer or things that don't require tools or abilities that you may consider "mods."

Four hours of not watching TV. Four hours of not bitching about products on the internet. Four hours of doing something productive. Hard to fathom, I know.

What makes you think i care what anyone thonks about me going down the road? I build my teucks, cars, hot rods and boats to suit ME, not you or anyone else.

So light bulb thing - ummm, lets call it functionality and safety. Theres rarely fog where I live but there I hunt predators year round. These lights illuminate the sides of the road where predators like to hang out at night. The yellow light helps me spot and identify them better than white light does.

Enjoy your stickers, pal. I'll enjoy customizing my vehicles as i please. God bless America and capitalism.

I wish I had remembered his work before I cut my dash. Oh well, I can always buy a switch and replace the panel.
My original post was number 26. It's still there. And nothing I've done to my truck. I would consider a modification. "Mod", come on.
I put some floor mats in so when deflectors no big deal. I like working on some things. My 40-year-old motorcycle maybe. But it's just to keep it running. Replace things. I'm not going to lower it or heighten it or put fog lights on it. Certainly not going to do that with a brand new vehicle and the cheapest vehicle you can buy. I got yard work things around the house to do family obligations. You guys got a lot of time on your hands. I can't just yell upstairs for a samich from moms.

@Robert C - the point being that you've contrubuted nothing positive to this forum. You criticize others because they do things that you wouldn't do. Nobody asks your opinion yet you feel entitled to give it. Then you try to twist it into something political that makes zero sense, using something other than standard English spelling, punctuation and grammar. But I'm the idiot?

Leave your vehicles bone stock and enjoy it that way. Nobody is shitting on your parade for NOT customizing your vehicle, yet you've made multiple insulting posts on other threads telling people your opinion (again, unsolicited) on their changes. Do you really think your opinion matters to anyone but you? Good grief, you must get invited to TONS of parties! 🙄

So when a paying supporter of this page (like Diode Dynamics) offers a GREAT product and someone thoroughly likes said product, try to keep that little inner voice inside, okay? Let the adults have a conversation.

This guy here
I don’t see what light bulbs were replaced…. I mean he added fog lights where there were none
I am still surprised how many people feel the need to post in other peoples threads about how they don’t understand why people make changes to their vehicles
It seems most (obviously not all) also seem to be driving XL Hybrids….. or maybe hybrids in general
I don’t see a lot of ecoboost owners trying to rain on peoples parades
I’m an Eibach lowered Hybrid on after market wheels, after removing my perfectly good wheels, and I think the mods are awesome. I’m running @LASFIT all around after removing my “perfectly good light bulbs” and I want the DD fogs.
I think it’s an Internet thing. People can’t just move along without comment.

Damn! Who pissed in your cheerios?
FYI. Fog lights are not some usless mod. For those of us that drive a lot at night in areas with a lot of fog, or animals in the road, they are extremely beneficial. 75% of the mods on here I would never do, or want to do. Just not my thing. Am I going to hate on them for doing it? No. Many threads I don't even look at because I could care less. The one time I did read and ask a question, I actually learned a lot.
You should try ot sometime. You might learn something.
Somehow I doubt it. I think you like being an angry man. Sad for you.
I hope some day you will realize life is a lot better when your happy.
Have a nice day.

I enjoy ready about the all the upgrades. I have always done what I call "custom tinkering" to my cars and trucks. It's in my blood and obviously most of you in here. If a person doesn't want to do something to their truck, I get it. Not everyone wants or can afford to do it. But this forum would be totally boring if no one did anything to their truck. Tweaking the Forscan, installing the backup lights, installing fog lights, custom builds for the truck bed, interior upgrades, raising the truck, lowering the truck, stereo tweaking and upgrades...........in my mind, its all fun! I probably won't do a lot of it but I enjoy reading about it and seeing the pictures. As we used to say back in the day................"Keep on Trucking"

LOVE this mod.

Looks like a ton of work though, I installed circular lights on my parking lamps, and it looks similar. That was the entire bumper cover and grille removal.

Looks awesome! Nice truck!

IMO, this kit is one of the best modifications you can make to your Maverick. It not only looks like it was OE and made for it, but it's one of the more useful and great-looking additions you can make.

Please stop adding these devices, they are causing problems that can’t be fixed at this time

Finally had an opportunity to drive at night with the fog lights. WOW! These lights make an extreme amount of difference even in clear weather. The light in front of the truck is exponentially better, but the light to the sides is unbelievable. I could see more than 100 feet out to each side which will certainly help identify critters!

Great job @Diode Dynamics , this is well worth it!
