Think I did reply the other day about being such a nice job.
So i thought i really would like fog's as I travel some
mountain areas. (small Pa ones) As a Senior + guy I really
dont feel like take off the bumper etc. so I called a local
aftermarket guy and got a "ball park" figure. $950!!!!!
Does that seem high or am i thinking Senior discount?

To give you an idea of how long it takes. I saw somewhere someone did it in 3 hours. I have decent tools an some mechanical knowledge, it took me just over 4 hours and have seen some that took 6 hours. Does the $950 include lights? And what kind of lights? I picked the Diode Dynamics for their factory looks.

The $950 was labor and parts. We conversed via email and
didn't discuss what brand of lights they would use.
I will probably check around. Had my truck for 3 years already
so guess I can wait a little more.

Good idea, shop around. Make sure they have the look your after. Maybe buy the lights and have someone install them?

Nice! Think I'll pick a set up. Though I don't want that aftermarket switch inside the cab...maybe I can just wire it so they're on. I never shut them off on my other vehicles anyway.
The switch actually mounts very nicely on the left side of the steering column where it's open enough underneath to easily install.

I need help understanding the Diode wiring. I get a light on the switch, but I cannot get the fog lamps to turn on.

I had that happen and it was the connection at the side marker light. You might check the connection at the headlight also
