I like it for the most part . Easy and quick and responds well . I’ve driven the shifters on right side of the wheel and manual . Easiest shifter to use

Think it would be better if it was on the dash somewhere. Don't like it where it is.

My opinion - Ford should have had a more "shift position" feel. CLICK I'm in reverse. CLICK I'm in neutral, ect. and the knob positions should lock instead of the ever-spinning thing we currently have. I constantly over-shoot reverse into park when backing up and I think the "L" button should enable a one-gear-at-a-time downshift instead of initiating an impending redline over-shoot situation. Something. I'll avoid the "L" whenever possible.

I have no preference either . I would like to have something to rest my right hand on . If my wife is with me , life is good , if you get my drift LOL . I was thinking about making something that fits into the cup holder with a mock floor shifter coming out of it , maybe I could use my old Hurst shifter ,if I can find it .

Question if your moving and door is a jar what happens if you open door while moving and try to close it

No preference for me . Dont really care much the normal shifter looks cool but for me in fine with whatever comes with.

Got use to it. Like it as it puts itself in park. The dial shifter in my Bronco Sport was better. It had a stop. The Mav just keeps turning.

Took me one drive to get used to it. It's fine, not good or bad, just a different way to affect the transmission. I've only had the truck for one month though, but I doubt my opinion is going to change.
