I searched and didn't see this, forgive me if I missed it already.

Is there anything specifically I should look at up on taking delivery. The reason I ask is my wife's bronco sport had a few things that just didn't look right and I to secure (back carpet wasn't snapped completely, speaker cover wasn't clicked in completely).

When mine arrives I plan on pinching myself to be sure it isn't a dream.

You may, or may not, want to let your dealer know your preferences for drilling holes to install the front license plate frame and if you want their dealer sticker on the tailgate.
Also, give your dealer an appropriate amount of time to prep the vehicle, but also, don't give them a week to let it sit in their showroom.

From seeing other posters issues scattered around in the forums, I plan to look for........

1. Tailgate droop.
2. Fluid levels.
3. Radio issues.
4. Are all the software updates installed?
5. Take a peek under the vehicle for leaks. This means at the time of delivery and for weeks after. You may want to clean the area you plan to park it in to make leaks easier to spot.
6. Scratches on the paint and the glass. Don't let the dealer pressure you into driving off the lot quickly, take your time and check it inside and out. Once it leaves the lot, the dealer can say you scratched it. Check the glass for optical quality. It sounds bizarre, but I once had a windshield replaced at the dealer and I didn't even drive it off the lot because the looking through the windshield looked like a fun house mirror. How the guy who replaced it didn't see the foot long flaw, I'll never know.
7. Check the upholstery and interior panels for scratches and imperfections.
8. Check your tire pressure to be sure all tires are in spec. Depending on your trim level, the truck may have a tire pressure monitor, but it helps to verify that with a trusted gauge.
9. Check the weatherstripping for fit and to be sure it is fastened.
10. Log engine noises with the dealer or service department head.
11. Do all the lights work?
12. Do the remotes work?
13. Make sure you have paperwork that allows you to drive it. The dealer should have a paper plate for you good for 30 days in most States.
14. Notify your insurance company of the addition to your policy before you drive it. They will need the VIN.
Update;
15. Check the underside of the vehicle for evidence of chassis scrapes while loading, transporting and unloading especially along the bottom edges of the jacking points.

That's what I come up with in 5 minutes. I'm sure there will be more .

I would check all fluid levels, tire pressures, fit and finish of body panels, paint, interior, seat fabric. Bring a good flash light. Do not accept delivery after sunset or during rainy or snowy weather. Also ask your dealer how the vehicle gets washed and you don't want it taken to a brush car wash that will put swirls in the paint.

Additions to the above:

1) Pop the hood and do a scan for stray plugs which may have become unplugged during shipping.
2) Sounds elementary, but check behind the back seat to confirm the jack and, if a hybrid, the fuel funnel are there.
3) Test all power windows and mirrors. Also moonroof, if have one.
4) Check door lock/unlock using the key, also same for the tailgate.
5) Test the horn.
6) Start vehicle and turn the fan to high to listen for any whines or rattles.
7) Visually confirm the spare tire is the one you ordered.
8) With tailgate shut, gently bounce on the rear bumper to listen for squeaks.
9) If installed, bring along something to plug into the AC outlet(s),
10) Check to make sure the antenna whip is installed.

I've seen a post on reddit where an individual had a paint defect/rust on the pinch weld and it got approved for repair. I'd add that to the checklist. Last thing you want is the pinch weld to start to corrode straight from the dealer lot...especially if you live in the salt belt. That's your vehicle's jacking point.

Anyone have a picture of the fuel funnel? I took my jack out and it wasn’t there where it should be.

edit: Found it in a box of stuff they gave me. I guess it was getting loose behind there. I put in the bed cubby hole.

I clipped the fuel funnel to the strap around the jack tools (see picture). I added the bag to hold jumper cables, first aid kit, tow strap, etc.

I like the bag idea. Mind telling me (us) where you found it?

It came from a Cubiker office desk my work got on Amazon(picture attached) We didn’t use the bag, so in my truck it went. Probably can contact Cubiker and just get the bag.
