For the low cost of the Valvomax I would recommend getting another one for the Maverick and find someone with a Honda Civic (or a Highlander) that uses that thread pattern and give it away ( or barter for something else).
Just had a rotate and balance and the rear brakes are shot at 50k, digging into the rotors. I am still a bit confused about this because I would expect the front brakes to wear down before the rear. The shop tech told me the Maverick is different than most vehicles.
Anyone have the same...
Filled up my Hybrid at Costco yesterday and about 20 miles later I noticed my fuel gauge was showing just over 3/4 full. Switched over to see the miles remaining screen and it showed 480 to empty.
It appears my fuel gauge and/or tank float is malfunctioning. I'm going to top it off again today...
Wow, for about $800 we can get the BamBeds kit... There has to be a cheaper option somewhere; even with the fires in Canada wood has not gone up that much. Heck, I'm sure someone here with wood working tools ands skills could make a killing at half that cost.
As discussed recently in the Stahlbus oil value thread. The newly released ValvoMax oil value system is now $38 each when you buy 2 sets using the 20% off Father’s Day code or new sign up code (a bit over $42 if you buy one)
Cool design, veteran owned, made in USA, no adapter required, no ground...
Well now that you ask; The Stahlbus valve has the 1/4 - 1/2 turn quick disconnect type fitting attached to the drain hose.
The ValvoMax uses a threaded cap attached to the hose. that threads over the end of the plug to press the ball seal.. IMHO, If you are under the vehicle you may have to...
I just purchased the ValvoMax Quick Drain Kit for $40 on their site using the Fathers Day discount code. Their quick drain system appears even easier, made in America, veteran owned company...
Amazon has the older version F107N long nipple for $34 and 1/2 adapter for $8 (I would only screw on the nipple during oil change) Anyone know why Fumoto discontinued the F107 and now call it the F137?
Anyone have an opinion on the EZ Oil brand (EZ-107)?
Does anyone know what, if any, significant difference there is between the FP89 and the FP100A?
(I've already purchased the K&N VF3021 equivalent to the FP89).
*Edit* I think I have found the answer to my own question above; RockAuto shows the FP100A as the Motorcraft filter also, but when we...
