I ordered my Maverick (XLT, ALTO BLUE, FWD) at my local dealership, got a bill of sale with no VIN but prices were listed last week. When/will I get notice of when my truck will be built? How long til I get my new truck?

Most 2023s should be delivered by Jan 15th, with the early ones coming in mid November. The plant does close for a week for Mexican Christmas which is on Cinco de Mayo so keep that in mind. You can call your dealer and get your COVP number from them and take that to Ford chat and ask for your priority code. A priority of 10 will get your truck built before most other people, but that is only if they ROVP'd it. The biggest thing is to make sure you have your farm bureau discount locked into St Vincent BEFORE you get assigned a VIN. That will protect your rate and make sure they don't change your trim package on you- due to supply constraints, some people who order XLTs will be given XLs instead, so make sure your dealer updated your info in Web-Doe.

If you got an email confirmation of your order from Ford, then yes, you will get notice of it being built(along with other updates). How long will it take....nobody knows for sure. Maybe next month, maybe 12 months from now. Welcome to the forum by the way, there's a 500+ page Mav themed meme thread to pass the time

Ordered a XLT AWD Lux Alto blue, and let's hope timelines will be better this time... I did call Ford and the order is in their system.

You wait. Then you wait some more. Then you read on the forums about how someone who ordered after you got scheduled before you.

Then you wait some more.

Did your order last week or get the data? Check with Ford your order is in, but if you ordered last week you didn't order.

I have a bill of sale and was told I was ordered. I didn't get an email from Ford or get a build sheet. How do I check with Ford?

OP, you.. wait. Seriously. And don't expect to hear much from Ford, maybe once every 45 days to 2 months, but even that's not guaranteed.

Every now and then you'll get an email that updates you on the next step, it'll look a lot like your order confirmation email from Ford, at each major step of the process. (Order received, scheduled for production, built, shipped)

You can of course bug Ford, but don't expect to get much more than they send you via email. The customer service reps don't have any more, and thousands of people are waiting out delays because the world has gone to shit.

All in, it could take upwards of a year to get your truck, and that's assuming that it doesn't hit any order constraints, that shipping goes well, etc.

Let's take this in steps.
1. When did you put this order in?
2. What is the official title on what you have? You don't have a bill of sale you haven't bought anything yet?
3. Do you see an order number and sales number on this document?
4. What dealer did you use? Others may have used same and can help.

8/22/2022. I have a bill of sale listing the price of the truck with options I chose, the dealer fees, tax and my $100 deposit, totaling $29170. No VIN, from LILLISTON FORD in Vineland, NJ. I have an order number and code and priority code of 19.

Request that your dealer update the priority code to 10 and have them give you printed documentation that the Order Verification Status order came back from Ford as Approved. Note if your dealer has MY22 rollovers those are probably the priority 10's. MY23 should go in the next priority 11-19, get as close to 10 as you can.

Why do you recommend this? Most dealers only have a handful of orders and priority code will not make much difference.
