The dealer changed all my forscan settings back to factory original while doing one of the recalls. Is there any way to save my forscan configuration? It sucks to have to do this. It has been 2 years since I did the programming and I no longer have forscan on my laptop.

Someone will obviously jump in and correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there's a way to save it to your computer and restore it with forscan you'll have to go back in and remake the changes.

You can download ForScan again and use it to make your changes. You can use it for 2 months before it expires (free version).

You could save the changes but when you restored the file that would undo the dealer updates. If there is a way to only save the PID and update changed it in different positions you would undo something there. = Can-o-worms.

The dealer didn't change the settings... they just apply Ford's software updates. The new software overwrites the old....and is of course based on the options your Maverick is supposed to have (by VIN).

Best bet is always save screen shots of the last setting you have .
Throw them in a maverick folder with any saved files for forscan and you have a reference.
Dealer will always rewrite all modules connected to recall with new ford lines.

When they did my recall, most of my Forscan changes remained; the only one that reset was the one that activates spotter lights when DRLs are on. Weird.
