Can't get Forscan to work

I get this message and I'm using the recommended cable. What should I be putting in here? It's a FWD Ecoboost.

I did all of that - updated the firmware of the cable, drivers in my laptop and still getting the same exact message.

You're right, I'm using the OBDLink EX.

Yup, the new test version too 2.3.47. I don't know what else to do.

I guess I'll just ship the cable back. It just wasn't meant to be.

Enter this number. I had the same issue. Vehicle description shows mustang but I was able to add the cruise on mine.

I actually JUST got a reply from Forscan support and they told me to download this and everything now works!

how do you do all the forscan stuff is there a beginning video/instruction guide and than further lessons you can take to master it ?
And all I have is a chromebook And it took me foreva to get linux on it Maybe there is someone via craigslist or the yellow pages that will do it all
For real I am afraid I would screw it up and brick the Maverick
And give me hope rather than saying Well than I guess your stuck with that blankty blank put the seat belt on warning , the vehicle is on warning ,and other telling me this and that poppin up on the screen And yes its me Im the one that has woken up the neighborhood with that damn blasted panic button "its the old dumb guy with the panic button again" and why of why does the Maverick beep twice when you lock it?
with all of this im dumb Drake I just want to get to the camper!!
